We recommend two exams per year. Dogs age much faster than humans, and bi-annual visits let us catch problems early. Annual exams include vaccinations against distemper, hepatitis, parvo, parainfluenza, kennel cough, and rabies — plus heartworm and fecal checks.

Puppies need three sets — at 6–7 weeks, 10–11 weeks, and 15–16 weeks. At the first visit we run a fecal sample to check for intestinal parasites. Rabies is given with the final set.

Kittens are vaccinated at 8, 12, and 16 weeks. We recommend a Feline Leukemia test at the first visit. All kittens receive FVRCP, Feline Leukemia, and rabies — boostered annually after that.

Senior pets are assessed case by case. For dogs over 10 we may recommend a 3-year vaccine protocol combined with senior bloodwork panels in the off years. Talk to us and we'll figure out the right protocol for your dog.

Yes. Call us first at (905) 879-1616 and we'll triage your situation and get you in as fast as possible. We're open 7 days a week including Sundays.

Book an appointment so we can run a urinalysis and exam. Several medical conditions — UTIs, bladder stones, kidney issues — can cause this and need to be ruled out before assuming it's behavioural.
